Kristian Mattson, AKA The Tallest Man On Earth, 5ft 7inches from Leksand, Sweden is truly one of the most brilliant singer-songwriters of this generation. These shots are from October ’22 at the Hardly Strictly Festival in San Francisco. After the first song I blurted out “I love you Kristian”, which caused a stir. He said “In what way?”. I replied, “I love who you are”. It wasn't long after that, the whole place became a reciprocal love fest as his heart, playfulness, talent, and passion won all. Tack!

The last four images are sequential which demonstrate how fun and spontaneous Mattson is. While he was playing, a woman in the crowd rushed to the front and asked him to sign her vinyl jacket. Kristian without missing a beat (literally), in the middle of playing and singing, held it in his mouth, signed the cover, gave it back to her and continued with the song. He’s a rare gem.
