— Pompeii & Pizza —
There has recently been a lot of talk, speculation, and division regarding the newly unearthed fresco in Pompeii that depicts a “pizza” - more of a focaccia. But needless to say, the ovens from Pompeii which you will see in my film, and the last image here, show an oven similar to those used in present day Napoli. One thing is certain. There is NOTHING like a Neapolitan pizza.
